CONSENSUS and Top-LOCKers for Thursday, Jan. 31

ALDAWG (5-2 so far on LOCKS) LOCKed the Pistons (-7) for tonight.

Here is his write-up:

lock #2 of the wek is pistons minus 7.0

every trend points in the direction of detroit

DET are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 home games

LAL are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 Thu. games

  • DET are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 Thu. games.
  • LAL are 1-7 ATS in the last 8 meetings in Detroit.
  • LAL are 3-11-1 ATS in the last 15 meetings.

The Lakers are just beginning a long road trip and detroit is just starting a long homecoming. this serves as the perfect situation for a detroit blowout. detroit is playing good ball right now and is happy to be back home. lakers have some injuries with walton and bynum and are not lookng forward to starting a long road trip. look for detroit to limit kobe to between 20-30 points tonight and to shut down the rest.

i expect detroit to easily win by double digits tonight

    lock it up

CONSENSUS and Top-LOCKers for Thursday, Jan. 31

mdando99 (5-2 on LOCKS so far) LOCKS CS Northridge (-8) for today.

    Here is his write-up:

    CSNORTHRIDGE -8 VS.UC IRVINE

Northridge is 7-0 at home and can light up the scoreboard.  UCIrvine is 1-10 away from home 1-7 on the road and 0-3 neutral court games........In those road losses are losses to Sam houston St and UC davis (Northridge beat UC davis by 35) so it is not as if the road is paved with stiff competition.  Since the new year CSNorthridge has played 3 home games winning by 35, 17, and 39 points.  Im looking for CSNorthridge to continue their home dominance tonight.
